David is a partner in the Corporate and Commercial department. Having qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2001, he continued his career in the City at two leading international law firms prior to joining Bracher Rawlins in 2019.

David has nearly two decades’ experience advising clients on a range of corporate transactional matters, including cross-border and domestic disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraisings. David has particular expertise in venture capital and private equity transactions and has acted for many businesses, funds, family offices, entrepreneurs and management teams across various sectors.

David graduated from Glasgow University in 1997 with a first-class degree in Law and from Oxford University in 1999 with a BCL (Bachelor of Civil Law) degree.

He has been listed in many of the leading directories of recommended lawyers, includingThe Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom 2021 (Mergers and Acquisitions Law).
